Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Finessed Copy Trader ("FCT," "we," "us") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you use FCT websites, Synergy, the FCT Dashboard, licensing systems, support channels, and related services.
1. Information we collect
- Contact and account information: email address, account display information, customer identifiers, and information you provide to support.
- Discord verification data: Discord user identifiers and role or membership information needed to verify access or purchase eligibility. FCT does not need your Discord password.
- License and entitlement information: plan, license key or entitlement records, activation state, account-slot usage, software version, and provisioning information.
- Trading and dashboard data: account nicknames or identifiers, platform/broker metadata, connection status, trade and execution history, P&L/performance information, signal status, and operational logs used to provide automation and dashboard functionality.
- Connection credentials or tokens: if a specific FCT connection flow requires credentials or tokens, FCT may process them only as necessary to establish and maintain that connection. Credentials should be entered only through a designated secure workflow, never ordinary support email.
- Billing metadata: purchase, subscription, product, price, transaction, and payment-status information received from Stripe. FCT does not need to store your full payment-card number.
- Technical and security data: IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, request logs, software logs, diagnostic information, error details, and security events.
- Optional public-site analytics: when you allow analytics, FCT may measure page views and customer-funnel interactions through Cloudflare Zaraz, including the page or site section involved, button/link category, timestamp, referrer, general browser/device context, and aggregate conversion stages such as Discord verification outcome, Stripe checkout creation, and purchase completion. The FCT public-site analytics implementation is not intended to include customer email addresses, Discord IDs, license keys, broker credentials, trading-account identifiers, or full payment-card details.
- Browser storage: first-party cookies, local storage, session storage, or similar technology used for preferences, security, authentication, and core functionality. See the Cookie & Browser Storage Policy.
2. Sources of information
We may receive information directly from you, automatically from your use of FCT software or websites, from connected FCT components, and from service providers or integrations you choose to use, such as Stripe, Discord, hosting/infrastructure providers, email providers, and supported trading-platform connections.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to provide, authenticate, secure, and support the Services; verify purchase eligibility; create and administer licenses; connect and display account information; process purchases and subscription status; deliver customer communications; troubleshoot errors; detect fraud or abuse; maintain operational records; improve reliability and usability; enforce terms; and comply with legal obligations.
4. How we disclose information
We may disclose information to service providers that process data on our behalf or support FCT operations, including Cloudflare for infrastructure, Stripe for payments and subscription management, Discord for role verification, email providers, cloud/hosting providers, and technical vendors needed to operate the Services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, to investigate fraud or abuse, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of business assets.
FCT does not currently sell personal information for money and does not currently use the public website for cross-context behavioral advertising. Optional public-site analytics is used to understand aggregate site usage and customer-funnel interactions. If those practices change, this Policy and any required preference controls will be updated.
5. Payment information
Stripe processes payment-card, billing, fraud-prevention, and transaction information under Stripe's own terms and privacy policy. FCT generally receives transaction and subscription metadata rather than full card details.
6. Legal bases for international users
Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, FCT may process information to perform a contract with you, pursue legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, comply with legal obligations, or act with your consent where consent is required. The applicable basis depends on the context and jurisdiction.
7. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including active customer service, license administration, transaction and tax records, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, security, dispute handling, backups, and legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and system. When information is no longer reasonably needed, FCT may delete, anonymize, or securely archive it.
8. Security
FCT uses administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information, including access controls, encrypted transport, authentication controls, limited credential handling, and security logging where appropriate. No internet service or storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your email account, Discord account, dashboard access, broker credentials, devices, and VPS environment.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply to FCT, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy of certain personal information, and you may have rights relating to certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising. FCT does not currently sell personal information or use the public website for targeted advertising.
To submit a request, email support@finessedcopytrader.com with the subject Privacy Request. We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request. FCT will honor applicable legal rights and may honor additional reasonable requests when practical.
10. Children
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. FCT does not knowingly offer trading-automation subscriptions to children.
11. International processing
FCT and its providers may process information in the United States and other locations where service providers operate. If you use the Services from another country, your information may be transferred to jurisdictions with different data-protection laws, subject to applicable legal safeguards.
12. Third-party services
Third-party services such as Stripe, Discord, brokers, MetaTrader-related platforms, signal providers, and other integrations are governed by their own privacy policies. FCT is not responsible for those independent privacy practices.
13. Data incidents
If FCT discovers a security incident involving personal information, FCT will investigate and provide notifications to affected individuals or authorities when required by applicable law.
14. Changes to this Policy
FCT may update this Privacy Policy as products, vendors, data practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated when revisions take effect, and additional notice will be provided where required.
